19 March:

3DX Australia took place over the weekend of 16th and 17th March at Vineyard, NSW Australia

Our sincere thanks to all concerned, Hawkesbury Airsports Association, Judges Jamie Robertson, Charlie Song, Nick Maxwell, Marco Rebelo, Kevin Einstein, James Searl. Our Commentator was Timmy Crofts and the Organiser was Hunter Wang

Participants came from 10 countries and a magnificent weekend of flying was enjoyed by all.

9 February:

Many people have suggested that I should document 3D Masters through the years. I am not sure that I will have time for this, but I have managed to find the picture below of the participants at the very first 3D Masters.

Second men standing from left and right are Kevin Targett and Jeremy Morcom respectively, while Front Row seated are our Judges Russ Deakin, Paul Heckles and Simon Brown. The first Expert Winner, Clive Ceney is immediately behind Simon and Kevin Targett won Sportsman Class. There was no Masters Class until Curtis, Jason and other International Pilots joined us in 2002.

3DX China Report is now available

24 January 2013 3DX News:

3DX Brunei is now joined to the 3DX Community, which means that for 2013 we already have 4 important 3DX events organised:

3DX Australia - March 16-17 2013 in Sydney, Australia
3DX Brunei - during April in Brunei, Darussalem
3DX Ukraine - May 31 - June 2nd in Kiev
3DX Russia - June 21 - 23, Moscow

A fantastic breakthrough is that 3DX Ukraine will run together with aero-festival AEROSHOCK 2013. This is the biggest air-games in Eastern Europe - at the sports airport near Kiev. There will be 5 days with a great show of air-models (jets, helis, aerobatics, pylons and etc) and full size aviation (aerobatic planes, gliders, paraсhutes, ballons and etc). Brilliant!

Hi 3DMasters Team!

I just wanted to thank you for all your effort and work you have put in the organization and realization of this great and awesome weekend. I had so much fun over the whole time, so much impressions are still on my mind - and they are all good ;) ..rain...there was no rain XD Especially I enjoyed the commentators, I literally felt their passion for this hobby!

I hope next year this events is again in Venlo or nearby, I will be there, definitely!

3DM was a quite cold, wet and demanding experience from time to time, but it was also a true privileged to witness the most amazing flying I have ever seen. Awesome.

17 July 2012:

Wow, the weather was against us, but we delivered yet another legendary weekend of over 36 hours of wall-to-wall 3D. Over the years we have now succeeded in delivering a total of 367 hours of World Class 3D, with a mere loss of 12 hours (3.27%). This level of performance can only be delivered by the highest levels of professionalism and dedication. These are the people who brought it to you:
